Ceramic Veneers for Correcting Tooth Color, Shape, and Proportions

Ceramic veneers are used for aesthetic correction of the front teeth when we want to change their color, shape, or certain irregularities. They are thin ceramic structures that are bonded to the front surface of the teeth.

Indications

Veneers may be used for:

  • correcting tooth color and discoloration
  • closing spaces between teeth, also known as diastemas
  • correcting the shape of the teeth
  • reshaping undersized or irregularly shaped teeth
  • correcting chipped teeth

Depending on the condition of the teeth, veneer placement may require minimal preparation, with the aim of preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.

Planning the Aesthetic Correction

When planning the treatment, we consider the shape and proportions of the teeth, their position, color, and relationship to the surrounding teeth and the overall smile.

The goal is to achieve a harmonious result while preserving healthy tooth structures and maintaining the natural appearance of the ceramic veneers.
